Hudson's & Storer's provide almshouses and relief for the poor of Melton Mowbray

Robert Hudson's Charity owns the almshouses, and Henry Storer's Charity provides money both to develop them and also to help the disadvantaged in other ways, such as providing the premises in Leicester Street for Madmac, the Melton and District Money Advice Centre, and giving relief for Melton people via Social Services for the gaps that cannot be filled through Universal Credit.
